Introduction: As people age, their risk of injury increases. Older adults in long-term care are at especially high risk. They rely on caregivers to keep them safe. This comprehensive training package consists of 10 injury prevention courses for caregivers - a total of 12 hours of training. Each course includes printable resources, a posttest, and course certificate. Course Topics: - Adverse Medication Events (1 hour)

- Elder Abuse (1 hour)
- Falls (2 hours)
- Foodborne Illness (1 hour)

- Suicide and Depression (1 hour)
Objectives: At the end of each course, you will be able to: - Recognize hazards;
- Remove hazards from the environment;
- Increase the level of supervion or assistance when needed; and
- Teach caregivers and residents prevention ideas.
